Description
This custom home office installation in Washington, D.C., involved the technical engineering of a floor-to-ceiling millwork suite. Our firm managed the structural mounting of a large-scale cabinetry unit, featuring a dual-station integrated desk with a high-durability wood-grain work surface. A primary technical focus was the installation of a vertical wood slat (tambour-style) back panel, which was engineered to house integrated electrical routing for flush-mounted power outlets. The project included the installation of recessed LED task lighting under the floating shelf and handleless upper storage cabinets with a matte finish. We performed precision finish carpentry for the open shelving units and ensured the millwork alignment was optimized for the room's bay window footprint, providing a high-performance workspace focused on ergonomic utility and structural durability.
