Renovation and Beyond

I am happy to have chosen Build Design Center (Georgetown DC) to remodel my kitchen and bathroom. I was nervous initially as the house is quite old and both the kitchen and bathroom had limited space to work with. They did an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the initial design stage to the final delivery stage, the entire team was professional and helpful. Emre is a seasoned designer who provided beautiful renderings which helped me visualize my soon to be updated kitchen and bath. His design recommendations were on point – I was able to get the aesthetics and functionality I wanted within my budget. My kitchen and bathroom look modern, beautiful and high-end, and meet all my practical needs. The construction process was overall smooth and completed on schedule. Sertac (project manager), who oversaw the project, kept me informed on the details and various steps/schedule of the renovation process. He answered promptly any questions I had and timely addressed/fixed any small hiccups (such as misdelivered items). I also appreciate that both Sertac and Emre would visit in person to check on the progress and answer any questions I had. The construction teams were fantastic as well. They were punctual, professional and respectful of my home. Because I was going to stay home through the whole process, I was worried about noise, mess, etc. But they were never overly loud and were able to seal off the renovation areas, keeping the dust/mess from infiltrating the rest of the home too much. They also tidied up every day before they left. It took about two weeks to do the whole bathroom and about four weeks for the kitchen (which included knocking down walls and moving pipes and electrical lines). Overall, my experience with Build Design Center was amazing. If you are looking to do a quality kitchen/bath renovation, I highly recommend Build Design Center, specifically Emre and Sertac and their construction team.

We had an excellent experience with the team from the Build Design Center. The bathroom in our 120 year old DC rowhome required a complete remodel. We looked for a team that provided all services from planning & design, purchasing all fixtures & materials, to performing the work. Emre and Sertac did just that and were great to work with. Emre’s suggestions and design ideas were outstanding. Sertac kept us well informed and the entire project was completed on schedule. Alejandro and the construction team were skilled, efficient, and professional. We’d definitely hire them again for other remodels and highly recommend them!
